About the whisky critic

Greetings everyone and welcome to WhiskyCritic.com.

My name is Martin and I live in Scotland. I love fine things in life, such as gourmet food, traveling around the world, and, last but not least, whisky (naturally, I’m partial to a tipple of whiskey or bourbon as well). I have tasted hundreds of whiskies in recent years and I finally decided to share my experience. The main goal of this blog is, as you understood from this little introduction, whisky reviews, but I will veer off course from time to time, so please bear with me.

Martin

PS One of our readers, Ryan, joined the adventure in the beginning of 2011, which officially makes WhiskyCritic.com a multi-author blog! His bio is below.

Hi everyone!  My name is Ryan, and I joined Martin to share my passion for bourbon.  I live in America, but enjoy traveling as much as possible, especially to visit bourbon distilleries (of course!).  Not only do I enjoy bourbon, but I also love whisky, wine, and premium cigars.  I wanted to share my experiences with others to help them find the best bourbons and also to open a dialogue with other bourbon drinkers to share their discoveries with me and with each other.  Hopefully, this site will eventually grow into a community of sorts and enrich my life and those of my readers.
