Fettercairn Receives New Life

Fettercairn single malt whisky has received a new life in the form of a re-launch and four new expressions – ranging in age from 12 to 50 years old.

All four Fettercairn whiskies began maturing in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels – although both the 12 and 28-year olds spent the entire time in the barrels – while the 40 Year-Old finished in an Apostoles Sherry Cask and the 50 Year-Old finished in a Tawny Port Pipe.

Fettercairn 12 Year-Old is available for $65 per bottle while Fettercairn 50 Year-Old will be available for a paltry $13,000 per bottle in late August 2018.
