Girvan Stays Single Still
You may have to go to the UK to get it – but it may be worth the trip for the Girvan Patent Still Single Grain 25-year-old Scotch Whisky. The GPSSG uses the original distillation methodology of the Girvan Patent Still built in 1963 by whisky pioneer Charles Gordon [great grandson of Glenfiddich Distillery builder William Grant]. That technology deems a continuous distillation process is necessary for single cereal grains. The result is a pure, fruity spirit which is then matured in a first-fill American white oak cask and, over time, the fruit notes are complemented by vanilla, honey, toffee and caramel.
Girvan Patent Still Single Grain 25-Year-Old Scotch Whisky will only be available in the UK for $400 per 750ml bottle.
