The 2020 version of Imbibe Live – the annual drinks industry trade show held in London – has been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. Originally scheduled to be held on June 29-30, 2020, at Olympia London – the show will now take place at the same venue on July 5-6, 2021.

Launched in 2010, Imbibe Live was due to celebrate its 10th anniversary this year, throughout the years welcoming wines, spirits, beer, soft drinks and mixer exhibitors from across the world.

Reed Exhibitions – the organizer of the event – issued a statement:

“Over the last few weeks, our industry has witnessed the devastating effect the pandemic is having around the world, and we are committed to supporting the wonderful people who work so hard in hospitality and beyond.

“The situation is ever changing. The pressure our customers are under is immense. We have been continually speaking with all our partners and listening to their feedback, as well as the information coming from the UK government and our public health authorities, so it is with heavy hearts that we have made the decision to postpone Imbibe Live until 5-6 July 2021.”

Additionally, Reed Exhibitions also rescheduled the Bar Convent Brooklyn 2020 trade show, moving that event from the originally scheduled date of July 9-10, 2020 to the tentatively scheduled date of August 11-12, 2020.
