Nc’Nean Debuts Ainnir Single Malt
Highland distillery Nc’nean will be releasing their first whisky – an organic single malt called Ainnir.
The first 10 bottles of Ainnir single malt will be sold on Whisky Auctioneer from August 14-17, 2020, with all proceeds from the auction will be split between local charities that support sustainability [Nc’nean, based on the west coast of Scotland, was founded in 2013, the distillery runs entirely on renewable energy and Ainnir comes in a 100% recycled glass bottle].
Nc’nean Ainnir organic single malt is a no-age-statement whisky originating from organic Scottish barley and – via a combination of five casks – was bottled at 60.3% alcohol by volume [120.6 proof] and is said to contain notes of apricot, citrus, peach and spice.
Only 1,320 bottles of Nc’nean Ainnir organic single malt were made available but all – except the 10 up for auction – were sold out.
