Parker’s Heritage Collection Has A Rye
Parker’s Heritage Collection has added a rye – Parker’s Heritage Collection Heavy Char Rye Whiskey – to their collection dedicated to supporting ALS [amyotrophic lateral sclerosis] research and patient care.
Parker’s Heritage Collection Heavy Char Rye Whiskey has been aged in charred barrels for nearly nine years, bottled at 52.5% alcohol by volume [105 proof].
Parker’s Heritage Collection Heavy Char Rye Whiskey is being made available for $150 per 750ml bottle beginning in September 2019. A portion of the proceeds from each bottle sold will be donated to the ALS Association.
Parker’s Heritage Collection was created in memory of late Heaven Hill Distillery master distiller Parker Beam, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2010. The past six whiskies in the series have raised more than $1 million for ALS research.
