Wemyss Brings Pair Of Blooming Flaming Highland Blends
Wemyss Malts has added a pair of Highland whisky blends to their extensive portfolio – christening them Blooming Gorse and Flaming Feast.
Blooming Gorse is a combination of two Highland single malts matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels and first-fill ex-Bourbon hogsheads, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of floral and malt.
Flaming Feast is a combination of 15 casks from two distilleries based in the east Highlands and west coast Inner Hebrides, also bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and said to contain notes of smoke and sweetness.
Only 6900 bottles of Blooming Gorse are being made available for $60 per bottle while only 6000 bottles of Flaming Feast are being made available for $60 per bottle, initially in the UK, and then to selected retailers in Asia and Europe.
