Well, I guess the way Californian clubs are working is pretty much weird. 10 PM until 2 AM. 4 hours are not enough. But that's the way a state law is :(

That's pretty much the way most people act at live shows. Venues are happy too If they are actually earning money from their bar area.

Yeah, gay people are usually pretty much open-minded and do not care about looking silly, especially those who already came out.

I've noticed that I can tolerate hip hop that's playing at a venue as a background music and I'm even having fun listening to it at those moments. However, I can't picture myself listening to hip hop outside this kind of environment. So, to me it's a party music.

By the way, how many shots do you take one after another? Do you guys have any self-imposed rules in order to not get drunk right away?

Shots are really a powerful thing. The alcohol percentage is usually pretty high in there. You're willing to drink one after another and, eventually, they can get you drunk pretty much fast.
