I don't see why there is this discrepancy, sure there are certain cigars that don't have the most pleasant smell but pipe tobacco is very aromatic. Much more so then cigarette smoke.

Pipe tobacco does have a unique and rich smell. It's unmistakable but you don't see a lot of people smoking it any more. I remember as a kid walking down the street and you could smell it nearly everywhere.

This is true, your palette does change over time. There are drinks I liked when I was younger that I don't really like anymore. Rum is one of them. I didn't really drink a lot of it but now I avoid it.

I think any light beer will work with calamari, it really depends on how it's made but if it's grilled anything light will work well with it. I personally prefer having sparkling white wine with calamari.

I wouldn't consider that unusual. That´s how I drink scotch, I prefer not to have a mouth full, it can be over powering.

That's how come it's so difficult to rank the best whiskeys producing countries. I had no idea that Sweden produced it's own whiskey. I thought they drank mostly beer and vodka. Live and learn is all I say.

I did try smoking a pipe for a while but didn't really like it. It burnt the tip of my tongue and i personally think it's more hype then anything else. If it was so good more people would smoke it.

I drink mostly light beer, I really like dark beer but unless I buy it in the store there aren't any other places that will serve it. I don't understand why they don't, it's not as if there aren't people that wouldn't drink it.

Yeah, it can only be one of two things. Really good or really bad. I doubt they would shoot themselves in the foot right at the beginning when they are trying to build a name for themselves. So I think it might be pretty good.
