I used to like drinking Four Lokos and watching the fireworks. Now that they took all of the caffeine out of the drinks (that was the fun part, I think) I don't drink them anymore. Now I just drink whatever beer I have in the fridge.
The last whisky I ever had was Sailor Jerry's and it was a terrible experience. It just burned my throat and I didn't like it at all. The only reason I drank it was because they were giving out dollar shots at my local bar.
I really love a good pale ale in the summer and spring. I tend to drink dark beer in the winter and fall. I like to drink dark beer that is room temperature. It taste too bitter if it is cold.
I would have a cold one with Obama. He has broke so many barriers and with his term coming up, I would love to hear his reflections on the past two terms and what he wished he could have done. It would be so insightful.
I went to the Edison in Downtown Los Angeles. It is a very swanky old bar built in an old factory and they have absinthe fairies who push little carts around the bar. I once got one of their cocktails and it was okay, but not worth the $15. I think you pay more for the ambiance.
I like to stay in one bar and have a great time. I hate the whole going through the line, showing my ID and getting a feel for the new bartender situation. It is just too long to get comfortable and find a seat. I'd rather stay put and have a great night.
I have never heard of an ambassador program for Makers Mark. That is pretty cool. I have been invited to tastings for Dewars and Macallan a few years ago. They give you a free flask and you taste a few flights of whisky. They also have a presentation while you nibble on snacks. It was fun.
That is so awesome! I would love to have one in my man cave! It's so stylish and does not look like a cooler at all. I want one for my bedroom! That way I don't have to get up for some ice water...or vodka.;)
I love the look on that man's face. He looks so smug and dapper! His hat is the coolest. I wonder if this picture was taken in Cuba? I would love to visit and smoke some of the finest cigars in the world.
Wow! I remember watching Anthony Bourdain on Parts Unknown drink some snake sake. I thought that was wild. The only wild drink I have ever had was Mexican tequila with a worm in it!
Does age matter for a mixed drink, eh, not so much. If you are drinking it neat and then I would say it matters. Mixed drinks not really because you are just using a sugary mixer anyway.
I have made cakes, burgers, steaks, soups, stews, sauces and shrimp tacos with beer, wine and liquor. Those are just a few things that are on the top of my head. I also made a shake with Baileys once.
I really like cherry coke or cherry pepsi and ginger ale. I can drink Reed's ginger ale and ginger beer all day. It is so tasty and I love the zing it gives me. I like Blue Sky sodas too. I dream of them!
I am currently on season 4 of Workaholics. I find that it is so stupid that it is fun to watch! I can't stop watching it and just letting it take my mind off of things. I didn't like it before, but I watch it now that I am done watching all of Girls and Broad City.
I have never thought to jot down my own cigar experiences. I just enjoy them and don't really write about them as fact. I have written about them in some of my fiction writing though. I do it when I write about women smoking cigars and drinking like men.
I like a little bourbon on the rocks and I have to sip it because it burns when it goes down. I do enjoy it in the summer time though and can have a nice relaxing drinking sitting on my front porch. i do love those hot summer nights.
I have an uncle who works construction and he does that too. He says that eating makes him feel heavy and it slows his work down, but drinking a beer will help him relax and get the job done. Is that how you feel?
I have never been to an oyster bar before. I do enjoy oysters and have had them before in the past, but I prefer to make them myself because I can't trust other people to clean them. I always get some sand in my mouth if I trust another place to make them! Yuck!
I have never used that website before. Thanks for the heads up. I usually use some bartender blogs or I check out hosting books from my local library. They have tons of recipes there.
I have always smoked some Cuban cigars that my uncle gave me. They were super illegal and now that my uncle passed away I am also looking for an affordable cigar. I went to my local smoke shop to find some, but they kept pushing e-cigs on me.
