Yes, I would agree that Mint Julep is a great way to drink bourbon. It is the drink of choice at the Kentucky Derby, and one that everyone seems to like. I think the best bourbon is from Kentucky so this is something that people would like.
I don't know since I was only in San Francisco once and this was years ago. I was curious about this topic though. I do have a friend wo lives out there.
actually as a small kid maybe 4 or 5 years old I used to drink sips of my neighbors beer bottle. He would leave his discards around and I would taste it just because I was curious.
I think amber is really good when it comes to beers and also liquors, but as I mentioned, I really do prefer darks, as I just think they have a better flavor. It is a matter of personal preference however.
Why wouldn't it be OK? I mean a lighter is a lighter as far as I am concerned. Zippo is one of the better brands..but anything that gets the job done, is fair game as far as I am concerned.
I like dark rum, dark brown sugar, dark beer. I do also like amber beer. I think whisky is one of those things, sometimes dark is good, sometimes light sometimes middle of the road or rye, but generally I think darker is better.
Do you prefer darker or lighter colored whiskeys? As for me, I think that darker whisky, has likely been aged longer, and I love the deeper truer flavor. Do you have a preference in terms of your whiskey? What do you like?
Well according to whisky experts age does matter however, it is probably a matter of preference and taste. Personally, as long as it is not nasty, I don't really care. I am not someone just drinking it for the taste.
I love taking baths in the winter, but not so much this time of year. This is one of the things that I enjoy in the winter. This is what of the options that I use when I get cold in the winter.
Beer is really good with pizza I think everyone knows that. It is also good with grilled cheese sandwiches and barbecue foods. There aren't alot of foods I wouldn't have beer with actually.
Do you ever do this? I will drink if I have had a beer or glass of wine. I am not trying to get a highly expensive ticket though so I am very careful about how much I imbibe when I am behind the wheel. If I can't operate a vehicle normally, I will not drive.
I used to always drink beer when I barbecued, but I have also found ice tea, wine and lemonade also make the grade as far as I'm concerned. Brew and Q do go together though.
Even though it was a lousy movie, Tom Cruise as a bartender in Cocktail did some amazing things with bottle of booze. He was a real juggler. That is the only bar scene that really stands out to me, unless you count Casablanca.
I never really over drink. I hate the whole room spinning or throwing up thing. I have never gotten drunk to the point where I couldn't remember the previous evening or something. I limit my drinking enough to feel be good but not to be a hazard or embarassment.
Cigarette companies put additional chemicals into tobacco to make it addictive. Tobacco in itself is addictive so it is something that people come to depend on. I think it helps to phase it out gradually.
I have not heard of this before, but I doubt it would be bad. One combo I have heard of more than once is mixing beer with tomato juice so I would like to try that one. I will one of these days when I remember to buy tomato juice!
I think Corona has been doing a lot of promotion lately. They have been doing a free beer bucket giveaway as well. That is always nice to see. Naturally, I signed up!
Well as I mentioned previously, I tried the Cinnamon whiskey and was not a fan. I mean some of it might be better, but I think I will pass on it from now on.
