View the Post on the BlogA new Islay single malt Scotch whisky – Laphroaig Brodir Port Wood – will premiere in Europe this month. Laphroaig Brodir [“brother” in Norse] Port Wood is intended to celebrate Scotland’s connection with Nordic heritage and had an initial maturation in ex-Bourbon casks followed by a second maturation in European oak casks that had previously held Ruby Port.
Laphroaig Brodir Port Wood was bottled at 48% alcohol content and will sell for $140 per bottle at European travel retail outlets only.
