What's your favorite local resturaunt we wouldn't know unless we've vusted your area? What's your favorite thing to order and what makes it so damn good?

Mine would have to be Nic's Grill here in OKC. It's pretty famous, it's been on.many, many TV shows and is considered America's best burger by some of those shows. It's great if you can get a seat.

Mine would be the Three Miles Public and Steakhouse. It is a local bar that has been here for many years. There food is amazing and the service is always friendly. They have awesome wings with over 30 different flavours to choose from. Their burgers are the best in the city. They have a wide variety of beer on tap also. The place also has a dance bar and comedy club. Just recently they opened a baked shop that sells homemade bread. It is a great place and one of the places most people head to when they come to the city.

That does sound good Sue. What city are you in if you don't mind me asking...Around this immediate area, the restaurants are mostly second rate, that is part of the reason I don't like this place, but Tim's which is a local chain has a lakeside place that is pretty good. People go there more for the atmosphere than the food though. Tavern on the Rail is another good place, but they are generally only open Fri and Sat....so if you want to go there another time you are out of luck. A Japanese place on the lake is authentic...I forgot about that place...it is good!

I loved Angus Steakhouse while being in London, but now back home, I have not yet selected a favorite restaurant.

Not much time (nor large budget) for dining out on a regular basis like those days overseas, back in time.

This is a such hard question for me. I live in the Seattle area and we have so many good restaurants to choose from and I've lived here for 10 years and have barely made a dent in trying them all. For a special occasion, I really like to go to a restaurant that has a chef's tasting menu to take all of the guesswork out of ordering and feature what the chef can really do. Some great ones here are Art of the Table or The Corson Building. For more of a budget friendly option, we have great burger joint down the street called Uneeda burger. Delicious food and a great beer selection! I wish we had better pizza here though.

In a big city it would be hard to get a chance to try all the food that the city has to offer. We have great pizza here for the most part. There are a few places that I wasn't impressed but most places are awesome!

I don't think people around here care too much about restaurants in Bucharest, but Gnome Bar is a pretty cool spot that is both a restaurant and a terrace.

In the summertime I enjoy going to restaurants that have patios over looking the water. We have some great views here so it is always nice when you can enjoy your lunch outside on the patio.

I live in Indiana an my favorite restaurant here is P.F. Changs. It is a Chinese restaurant that has unbelievably good food. It is a little pricy compared to a lot of restaurants around here, but the food is well worth it!

Chinese is one of my favorites. We have quite a few around here but there are only maybe 2-3 that are good. Some of them are just down right terrible. We have our favorite though and we go there a couple of times a month. They give you lots of food for your money so there are always lots of leftovers to enjoy later.

One of my favorite all time foods is a donair. There is a restaurant that makes here that are the best. The meat is nice and spicy and the sauce has just the right sweetness. Donairs are the best. I could eat them every day and they also go awesome with beer!

One of my favourite places to chow down is O'Hagans Irish Pub & Grill in Sunny South Africa. They have one of the best Nacho's on their menu that I have ever tasted. They make it just spicy enough, so that you need to have a pint on standby, but not too spicy to make you want to call the fire brigade. And they use proper Nacho's and not Doritos like some restaurants do nowadays. They are not terrible over priced and have a real lively vibe about them.

I love a good plate of spicy nachos.. I have been to places too where they have been way overpriced but always good. There is this one place close to where I work and they have these potato nachos. They are delicious.

Sounds good Sue, maybe one day when I have the cash I can fly over and taste of these great nachos.
One day is one day. So I guess I will just stick my O'Hagans nachos for now. ;p

If Burger King can be seen as the restaurant... so, that's probably BK.

Just kiddin', you know.

My honest answer would be... pretty much anything that includes the Italian cuisine. I love it so much.

ps: Sbarro doesn't count, it's crap.

I love PF Changs too. They make a killer Moscow Mule. I had to try to replicate that as soon as I came home. They also have some of the best Chinese food I have had. It is really good!

I am in the Mahoning Valley of Ohio, which is situated between Cleveland, OH and Pittsburgh, PA. It is the heart of the Rust Belt and boy, do we like to eat! We have a few very notable places here:

The first is the Royal Oaks in Youngstown, OH. Great local bar that is rich in history. If you go, you have to get the ribs with their famous Raspberry BBQ sauce. It is unique, tasty, and goes well with whatever's on tap.

The second Youngstown venue I will recommend is on Mahoning Ave. It is called Casa Rameriez. It is an authentic, family-owned Mexican joint that has reasonable prices, good service, and awesome food.. Everything on the menu is great, but while it is not a popular dish around here, Casa Rameriez has the best fish tacos you'll eat this far from the coast.

Warren, OH has a nice place called the Sunrise Inn. It's probably the best deep-dish pizza I have had outside of Chicago.

Honestly, we are foodies here in Northeast Ohio. There's not much to do but eat and drink, so we do it well! I could probably list 100 places/dishes if I thought about it.

Thanks for your post LIsa Jo. I am planning a trip to the region come August..maybe I will check out one of your places. I want to go to the Cuyahoga National Park up there, a place I have never been. Mostly I am going to see family in the area..but Ohio is not far away. Thanks for your posts.
