What is the most popular whisky in your local area? Why do you think that is? We have some local brands of whisky here but I would imagine that Jim Beam or Jack Daniels are the most popular. Kentucky Gentleman, is sold here as well...but that may be a type of bourbon. I might ask what is the most popular brand here in Central Virginia or in that store in particular the next time I go in...and Merry Christmas y'all. I hope you are drinking some whisky today!
 
Around my area the most popular brands are Crown Royal and Gibson. There are any other brands available but those two seem to be the biggest sellers. Hope you had a good Christmas as well.
 
The most popular whiskey in my area is Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey. There is always some kind of sale involving it and I never have a problem locating some to buy when I get a craving to drink it.
 
We actually don't have a lot of whisky companies here in Romania (at least not in the stores) but Jack Daniels can be found at every shop in the country. :p
 
Jack Daniel's seems to be very popular all over the place. Seems no matter where you go you can pick up some Jack. Even though it is not the best whisky out there, it sure has made a name for itself.

Here is Jack Daniel's the most popular of the whiskeys, but while have tasted the honey version of this, it's very hard to find Jack Daniel's honey at the brick and mortar stores in my area.

There is no doubt, that Jack Daniels is the best known of the whiskey's whether it is the most popular everywhere, is a matter of conjecture. It is just one of the things to keep in mind.
 
Yeah, Jim and Jack are worldwide-known products. And I appreciate their quality. So, it's definitely for a reason.

You might want to check out the brand of Early Times Whiskey,and like Jack Daniels, its a Whiskey and not a Bourbon but its made in Kentucky and not Tennessee. Its not a bad Whiskey and its in the same class they say as Jim Beam and Evan Williams-and all these brands are popular at a very good price as well. So go ahead and pour yourself some Early Times over some ice and drink up!
 
I think that most people's choice of drink is primarily determined by their pocket. We all love a good whisky but some of us can't afford that on a regular basis, so we make do with what is available to us. In my area the most popular is Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey.
 
Whisky is not as cheap as other liquors, but the most popular ones over here are Jack Daniels, Johnnie Walker Black, and Jim Beam.
