The advantage of rolling your own cigars is that you can make them as big as you like. I have never rolled my own but if I did it would probably look like this.

Wow, that is the biggest cigar I have ever seen! That thing must be like a foot long. It is probably a very good and mild smoke. I just think that is one impressive stoogie. This is one of the things that you might find with these cigars. It is mild.

Holy moly, that is a huge cigar. I don't know why someone would want to take on a cigar that big- but to each their own. I can't imagine rolling a cigar of that size for myself. I would more than likely have to continuously put it out and re light it throughout the day. I'd be impressed to see someone take on a cigar this large in one sitting.

I think the reason they roll these cigars this big is because cigars don't have filters, so by making it this big they end up using the tobacco itself as a filter.

That actually makes a whole lot of sense. I could see someone wanting to use the tobacco as a filter, but at the same time, I could see this being wasteful. Personally, I could not finish that cigar in one sitting. I would become terribly ill if I were to even try, ha ha. It'd be wasteful for me, but this guy seems pretty confident. :)

I think that's why he hasn't lit it up yet. I think he is still building himself up to doing it, but certainly has started gnawing at it. hahaha

He is enjoying the freedom of making the cigar to his own specification as he likes instead of the uniform ready-made stuff. Yes, he's probably showing it off before he lights it up.

Ha ha ha, I suppose smoking a cigar like that would take some build up. I feel like I'd be pumping myself up for a round of heavy breathing. That can't be good for you at all, ha. Honestly, I could do this with a marijuana cigarette, though I'd probably fall asleep prior to smoking it. I suppose you have to choose the thing you love and dedicate- ha ha.

I rolled up a couple of my own cigars and yeah, it's pretty awesome that you decide what roll to use, what you put in them and how long you make the cigar. Homemade ones taste better than the one in the stores for me.

Well some people don't even light their cigars, they chew on them...Grosss!! I mean wet tobbacco sticking to your teeth, that just sounds nasty. I just think that it would be a way that I would never want to "enjoy" a cigar.

I love the look on that man's face. He looks so smug and dapper! His hat is the coolest. I wonder if this picture was taken in Cuba? I would love to visit and smoke some of the finest cigars in the world.

Well, I think sooner or later Cuban cigars will be available in the United States. Now that the trade embargo is lifted. It would be highly possible that we would have Cuban cigars available. It would just bet that it is not too far in the future.

I have never smoked marijuana but I wouldn't mind giving that cigar a try, well not that one because it's all covered in spit. lol
One like that one. ;)

I think they might be building up a stock pile, if they aren't they certainly should. After so many years of being out of the market they will sell like hot cakes.

Oh I think you are totally right about that Sir Joe, however, I have a sneaking suspicion they may have been availabe on the black market for quite some time.

I believe it was this forum where I read something about this. Someone had mentioned that Cuban Cigars were about to make their way to the US. Of course, we've already had Cuban Cigars, but from what I understand they will be more frequent here in the coming year. It'll be interesting to give them a try.

Oh yeah, I would try one. I wonder if they will be extremely expensive though. There may be a lot of taxes levied on them. When they first become available people will probably scoop them up like crazy.

Did you? I was under the impression that they were illegal or at least that's what the constantly reinforce in the movies. I guess were there is a will there is a way and if the market is really interested in a product they might not be able to import it directly but rather indirectly from a second market.

Yeah that's a pretty big cigar, I probably wouldn't even be able to roll it that big. And that would take a long time to be smoked too.

I dig the gentleman's attitude. It looks like "ahhh yah."

Anyway, too big of a stoggie for this cigar smoker, but it still looks like fun.
