Coconut Beer

I have never tasted coconut beer till now. I'm a bit stringent when it comes to trying new tastes. Do you all think that the flavor is worth giving a try?

I haven't been able to get my hands on the one above that I've been wanting to try. I've tasted a couple of others, but they weren't as good as the one that got me started.

Personally, I enjoy trying all kinds of new tastes and styles. It's a bit of an adventure. Some are great, some aren't my favorites, but I'm still glad that I tried them. You might be missing out on some great beers if you don't give them a try.

In my opinion, coconut beer is disgusting, I can't drink it. Beer itself is amazing, but if you add coconut to it it just smells and tastes disgusting. I tried it once at a party, couldn't even drink half a bottle.

Do you just hate coconut in general, or do you think it just tastes bad in a beer ? I wanted to try it, but I'm not so sure now heh.

I agree with you. There is so much of variety of every kind of alcohol. I like to taste a few but not every one of it. Firstly because my taste buds are very choosy and secondly I don't want to waste my money in buying drinks which I don't like.

That's a very good point. Making tasting into a hobby can get very expensive. Some places do "bottle sharing" where you can just have a taste of one and then share yours to give others a taste (big bottles, small tasting glasses). Some pubs offer "flights" or tasters as well. A flight is usually 4 small tasting glasses to give you a variety.

I like doing it that way instead of buying a large bottle or a 4-6 pack first when trying something new (if possible).
