An 18-Year-Old Highland single malt Scotch whisky from anCnoc has been launched. The whisky has been aged in both ex-sherry casks composed of Spanish oak as well as ex-bourbon casks made of American oak. Bottled at 46% alcohol content [92 proof], the whisky is said to have notes of spices and vanilla with a honey and caramel finish.

Only 6000 bottles of anCnoc 18-Year-Old will be produced and made available at $110 per bottle worldwide in December 2014.

To be completely honest I expected the price to be higher for an 18-year old whisky bottle, they really lowballed it.

I had a taste of this whiskey and I must say it was devine. It was like a party was being held in my mouth.

I love a nice whisky that has been aged. I wish I could get my hands on that bottle! Sounds great! Do they sell it at BevMo?

I bet it is awesome. Anything that is marinated or aged tastes better in my opinion. It gives the flavors a chance to intermingle and marry together. I bet it is one killer whiskey.

Can you imagine making something right now, then not drinking it till almost 20 years later?

That's pretty intense!!

Yeah! It also could be part of a pretty cool idea. Buy a drink like that at your birthday/wedding/other memorable event and don't open it until the 10/15/20th anniversary. That would be fun!

Wow! That price! That is a hell of a deal! It's too bad I live in Oklahoma and can't order alcohol online.

It looks really delicious, but unless it was a really special ocassion I would not be spending 110 on a bottle of whisky. Many people can and do pay this much for a bottle though, and I bet that particular whisky tastes divine.

I don't think I would want to spend $110 per bottle on whisky, so this brand is catered to the well-off people.

It seems like a really great work of art-as far as good Scotch goes, and I really like the artwork on this bottle and container. The palate of honey and spice along with vanilla, lemon, and gooseberry really sounds quite tasty and the nose has a honey and orange bouquet that would be heavenly. I am not sure the guy below like it though ?

I have tasted it a few days ago and it does taste like a most amazing thing in alcohol range. I think the price is too low compared to its price and quality. Just imagine 18 years old.
