Beer Is Good For You

Had to pass a kidney stone a few months ago and I got by with a little help from my friend Bud Light. I settled into a warm bath with a room temperature 40 and an hour later I felt much more relieved!

Glad to hear that the Bud Light helped. That is a miserable experience to have to endure. Not fun at all!

Beer is my preferred drink also. I tend to drink more through the summer months when camping and the weather is so warm. There is nothing more refreshing to me then an ice cold beer on a hot summer day.

I drank a few beers every now and then, but I'll still love whiskey and liquors the best. Still, if I need to drink beer, I'll almost always go for Bud Light.

I like beer. I think my current favorite is Bud's Black Label Crown, but I don't buy it very often. I tend to drink more wine than anything else. I drink it all, at various times though. It depends on my mood of the week.

I have always thought that beer was good for us. We have been making it for years! I am sure that it has some health benefits in moderation. It is just when we get all buck wild and binge drink that it is bad for us.

Right! Nothing is really good in excess. Moderation is key!

Every once in a while we all need to get buck wild and binge drink. Its good to let your hair down every once and a while!! :)

Well, my theory is everything in moderation is fine, and I don't see why beer should be an exception that rule. My only real problem with beer is that it has a lot of carbs in it. So, if that doesn't concern you, by all means drink up!!

Thanks for posting links to articles detailing why beer is good for health, at this moment I am trying print all of them to future proof any untoward incidents that might occur post consumption.

Beer gives me loose bowel movements. That might be a sign that it's good for colon cleansing. Maybe I'll try to do a few keg stands as a part of my daily workout routine.

I am a Coors Light person myself. I started with Michelob Ultra thinking it would help with the calories but the headache was terrible. So I have been a faithful Coors lady for a long time. My dad had a kidney stone and he did not drink. But the doctor actually advised him to go home and drink a few beers and it worked to help flush the stone out.

This was a very interesting read. I am glad I had the opportunity to read it. I never knew beer had so many if any health benefits. I think I might need to start drinking it more.

Ha ha, this is great. It doesn't surprise me that there have been good qualities found in beer. Not only does it taste good, but it's good for your bones? Count me in. Beer is a guilty pleasure of mine- guilty, because it makes me gain weight faster than ever. It makes me feel a bit better about indulging, knowing there are a few benefits.

Beer definitely does put on the weight. Through the summer months when we are camping I tend to drink more beer and after the summer is over I have to work hard to get the weight off. Summer is always filled with lots of beer, bbq and beaches!
