Can V/s Bottle V/s Beer Mug

How do you prefer to drink your beer. I sit directly from the beer can or beer bottle or from a beer mug.Well my husband prefers it directly from the beer can. He says pouring it out makes changes with it's taste.

Is it so? What is your favorite way?

It really depends on what kind of beer I'm drinking. If it's good beer, I'll use the appropriate glass, if we have one in that style (we just started our collection).

If it's cheap beer, I'm more likely to drink from the can or bottle. Also, if I'm outdoors at a BBQ or something, I have no issue drinking it right from "the glass it comes in."

Beer that comes in a can is better protected from going stale or skunky than most bottled beers. I think light,oxygen and heat are the beers worst enemy,so I see how the can would be the best choice.

I like to drink my beer out of a frosted mug,but you should let the can of beer sit on the table awhile,before you open it up. I like a little foam in the beer as well,but they say drinking out of a frosted glass hurts the taste,Oh well?

I think it depends on the beer, too. Not all beers are meant to be drunk ice cold. That's probably why they said something about the frosted glass.

Still, I say do what you like. Have you noticed that some beers change flavor as they change temperature? I mean, I don't want to drink warm beer or anything, but some definitely have better flavor when they are not super cold.

Well I know that the can is the least favorite of the options for me, and to this day I really do not enjoy it all that much. I would say a nice chilled glass is the way to go.

I hate beer cans, so I tend to stay away from them. Most of the time I drink from the beer mug I have at home, but when I'm at a bar I drink straight from the bottle.
