Favorite Gin?

Hey pals. Do you have any favorite brands of gin? Why so?

Personally, I, generally, stick to mid-to-bottom shelf, because G&Ts are my regular evening beverage. That doesn't mean I can't appreciate a good gin though.

Hey pals. Thanks for the notes. Bombay Sapphire and Tanqueray are both good ones. I really enjoy the latter with a decent tonic, and a twist of lime in the summer months. :)

It's the only way I drink gin. I can't imagine it without tonic. I have it with coke before but it was the fist and last time.
 
My only two experiences with gin are Bombay Sapphire and some store brand gin. I drank too much Bombay Sapphire and got terribly sick. For some reason it smelled like pine to me and I didn't like it too much.

I hear you. Drinking it straight is too raw. I've mixed it with diet 7Up (meh), with lemonaid (meh-to-OK in summer), in a Martini (nice), but always end up going back to the old G&T. :D
 
Oh heck, I don't drink gin often enough to have a favorite. I am not paritcular about it. I drink Vodka much more than I drink gin. It just isn't the type of liquor I enjoy that much I guess. I do tend to like vodka though.

It really does seem like they were made for each other. It's just the perfect combination.

Yes, indeed. The British fellow who invented it was a genius. I'm not sure if history records who it was, but I'll raise a toast regardless. :D

I haven't had one in a while but all this talk has really put me in the mood for one. Some good gin, tonic, ice and a slice of lemon. Life doesn't get any better then that.
 
Not the biggest fan of gin, I'm not too fond of the taste but the best I ever drank was Tanqueray.
