Is Anyone Into Homebrewing?

I really wish that I could say that I knew more about it, but the means just are not there. That would really be a cool hooby though.

I'm not sure if I even want to try homebrewing in the first place, since beer is so cheap already, so why make the effort when I can just buy one, right?

I have no idea how homebrewing is done. Actually if I can get a tutorial on how to brew beer locally at home I'd like that. This will be a welcomed do it yourself venture and econmical to get beer on the long run.

There are a few valuable and very informative guides on the internet, it's not that difficult.

If you have the ingredients, know the procedure and have enough assistants, I would prefer to produce some beer at home. I think It is cheaper and more convenient.

It's not like I'm trying to never buying beer again...
There's just something sexy to brewing your own.

How long did it take for each batch from start to end?
What was the worst part of it in your opinion?
The worst part would be the effort you'd have to put in and the inconvenience. If you're retired and can afford to home brew, then it could be a fun hobby. But if you have a job and everything, going out and buying a pack is the best option for most.
