Mexican Beers?

Hey all. Do you have any favorite Mexican beer brands? I normally pound some during the summer months. I still like Modelo Especial year round though.

How about you? Any you love? Any you loathe? Thanks!

I really enjoy Corona. Sol isn't bad either. I've also had Dos Equis but I found that to be... well normal. I don't mind having it but I see no special reason to buy it over any other brand.

Corona can be nice on hot days and with certain meals. Agreed, I never really saw the appeal to Dos Equis. It is an OK beer, but nothing to get excited about, imho.

I like Modelo because it comes in a can. It is sometimes nice to buy a can of that and have it with some variety of Mexican food. I think Modelo is a tasty brand, and it usually costs less than some of the other Mexican beers.

The only one that we have available here is Corona and I am not a big fan of it. I have tried it but it just wasn't for me.

I have only had corona and sol. They are ok, but not my first choice, I think the best Mexican beers aren't exported. Since I haven't been to Mexico and won't be able to go there soon I have to stick to those two.

Mexican beers aren't too popular here in Romania, so it's hard to get a hold of them. Corona is definitely the better choice here, but I've heard good things about Modelo as well.

A beer that you see in the stores alot around here is Tecate-and I enjoyed this beer quite a bit in the past-but its smoother than a lot of the other mexican beers. This beer taste even better with lime-and if you drink it on a beach as well on a hot sunny day-and it has a lot of character.

Corona was the first name that came to mind. :)

I really like that beer (the taste is very striking), especially in the summer. It's a perfect match! ;)

I have no favorite Mexican beer in fact I am new to the beer. I am open to try a few that has high rating and see how Mexican beer feel like. Perhaps I may just get addicted to a brand there.

Over here I only know of Corona, and it costs $2, double the price of local beer. I guess I will try it sometime to see if I will like it's taste.

I do not really have much experience but the few I have tried are pretty good. Those are just the basics though like your Dos Equis and such, if that even counts.
