Taste And Quality: Miller Light, Coors Light And Bud Light

Hey pallies. I can't say I like, or would drink, any of those. I'm more hip to Heineken, Lux, and a few microbrews.

Coors Light is definitely one I could never grow tired of drinking. It is the only beer that I drink. Unless where I am is out of it then I have to settle for the infinite Natural Light.

Have any of you heard the resent news that the owner of Budweiser wants to buy Miller for a mere 73.3 Billion yes Billion dollars. http://abcnews.go.com/International...ev-makes-takeover-approach-sabmiller-33792082 This merge could very well basically crush completion and lead to higher prices for us consumers. I am all for growth and expansion however I just do not want to pay higher prices in the long run. How do you folks feel about the merger?

Um, ew. That makes my Bud light I'm drinking now taste significantly worse.
Beer money is hard enough for me to come by. I don't need to have to come up with more to satisfy corporate greed.

It will definitely drive the beer prices up when the merge happens. Here is Canada we already pay way more then they do in the USA for alcohol. The prices have really gone crazy in the past few years. Buying alcohol is a treat that a lot of people can't afford to do too often.

I would have to say I am a Bud Light fan. I have tried the others, but if I have to drink domesticated US beer, I would rather have a But Light.

Out of these three beers, which beer do you consider to have the best taste and quality? Which one of these beers could you never get tired of drinking?
hmmm, I haven't had regular Miller Light for years. I haven had the Light 64 to save some calories though. I am not certain there is a lot of difference between any of them to be honest. I would six of one, half dozen of the other.

I didn't realize they were that much more expensive in Canada. Thats sucks.

Oh ya the prices here are crazy! I was down in Florida visiting one time and I was so impressed at the prices! I could buy almost triple the amount of alcohol for what I would pay here in Canada. I got to the checkout and when she told me the price, I was like, "Are you sure you didn't make a mistake? That can't be right." It was though and I was one happy gal! Even went back and bought more!! lol

This is a really hard question because I hate all three of these beers. If I had to choose one, I think I would go with Coors Light. Just thinking about that makes me cringe. I can't say much about the flavor profile because it's not very enjoyable to me at all.

My daughter drinks Coors Light and it makes me gag just looking at the bottle. I don't know how anybody can drink it but I guess if I was somewhere and that was all the beer that they had I would choke it down. lol

I think Bud Light is the best of the three. Although I prefer craft beers, I don't mind an occasional Bud Light at a BBQ. I think it goes down easy and sometimes can be refreshing. I am not a fan of Miller Light at all, to me it takes watered down. Coors light is the worst of the three. I think this beer tastes the cheapest and gives me the worst hangover (even if I drink only a few).

I'm curious if you're having the same issue that I've had on this forum. I noticed your post went through three times. Is it telling you there is an error every time you post? I found that the error message comes up automatically, but my post will still go through.

Yes I am having the same problem too. Even though it says there is an error if you refresh the page it has gone through. It has been doing that for quite some time now. If you keep hitting the post reply button it will just keep posting it over and over again. I just wish we could post some new topics to discuss. There are so many things to talk about if we could just post new discussion!

I will choose "The Silver Bullet" which is Coors light and its a clean and crisp tasting kind of beer, with a mountain spring water kind of touch to it as well. Its a great beer at any price though and when you drink it down,it goes down smooth and mellow and with no bad after taste also.

All of these kinds of beer are kind of the same to me. I can tell a slight difference but never really enough to distinguish picking one over the other, just what is around I guess.

I actually haven't tried any of these beers yet, but I would not mind trying them out if they're within my budget, since some liquor like Jack Daniel's can be so darn expensive. I will take what has been said about the 3 drinks in mind though and form my own opinion once I got to try them.
