I always have mine on the rocks. One, it give the scotch a more enhanced taste (at least to me) and two, it gives a nice delayed effect when the alcohol kicks in, what with the gradual warming sensation you feel as you drink it rather than everything hitting you at one.

You never had Irish Whiskey? That's pretty surprising, but I understand not having cash to drink the good stuff. Jameson is a really good brand of Irish Whiskey to try and it's pretty inexpensive so you don't have to break your wallet to buy it.

I'm not a huge fan of Vodka, but Whiskey mixed with Orange juice sounds pretty delicious! Hell, anything mixed with whiskey (except for some things) is pretty good in my books.
