What Did You Get This Christmas?

I know most of us are adults but I think some of our families still enjoy sharing gifts. I personally got a new, expensive laptop but that was this summer, not now. Good enough for me! :D

Well the best is yet to come...my son is giving me a flatscreen. I also got a Roomba and bought a kindle fire and toaster oven for myself...so it was a good Christmas!! I would have rather seen my son, but a flatscreen does ease the pain..I must say.;)

Yeah, well, I got nothing. I am a bit broke right now and the rest of my family is not less broke then me so we just pretend it is not the end of the year. :) I never liked those special days to be the reason for gifts anyway. We are going to catch up with presents next year. And new laptop is a great present really. Good for you.

Haha, a flatscreen does indeed ease the pain. Decent Christmas! :D

Don't worry about it, we don't give out gifts at Christmas that much. We don't need a holiday to be kind and giving, we do it every time throughout the year.

I got engaged. The ring is beautiful and came as a complete surprise. We aren't planning on getting married until 2017 but one thing for sure is when we do get married it is going to be a hellva party. It will probably be an outdoor event, maybe at this beach. It is exciting! :)

I am a bit like that. We have a custom here in Serbia to kiss three times when congratulating something and when my father cam to do that I asked him where was he the whole year and where would he be the next one. they make it like an obligation. Something that you do for courtesy. I told him we should hug and kiss everyday.

I was given $100 and a bottle of Baileys Mint Chocolate all for myself from my mom. She always knows the best things to give me <3

Ha, I know what you mean. I wish I would've been easier on my parents while growing up, but I guess everyone is an angsty teenager throughout their lives. :p

Now I want some Baileys Mint Chocolate:(
My mom gave me boxers and socks hahaha
Do you want to trade?;)

lol When my kids were growing up I always told them that once the stopped believing in Santa that all they would get for Christmas was socks and underwear. No matter how old they got, they never once said to me that there was no Santa!! lol

I like incorporate a tradition that my mother started when I was growing up. There'd always be a "to Mom from Santa" gift under the tree. It was a gift that she had purchased for herself and wrapped for herself. So this year "Santa" got me a new rice cooker and a Cuisanart griddler (I do a lot of cooking). Santa knows me so well and knew just what I needed ;)

Wow what an awesome gift. You must have been really good last year!! It is always nice to get gifts that you know you are going to make great use of!! Good job Santa!

I got a brand new PS4 which was basically the only thing I even wanted. The Nike foamposit Yeezy sneakers came as a huge surprise from my friend who knew that i loved them ever since I saw him with his on. The new Fall Out 4 game for me to play on my playstation 4 and a variety of clothes. there is literally nothing else that I could have possibly wanted this year. After all those hours of breaking my back and paying bills, doing the grown up thing all 2015, everyone made me feel like a little kid on X-Mas day again. I thank God for the family that I have. I hope all of you had even better Christmases than I did. Sometimes its great to feel appreciated by your significant other and your friends even though it has been a rough year, I realize how much they have paid attention to my wants and needs. I can never say that my people are not considerate.

When you get my age, you get the normal. Socks, lotion, perfume, makeup ECT. I think it's been the same for like five years now. My husband went above and beyond this year and got me a Stihl chainsaw. And before everyone freaks thinking it was really a gift for him, it wasn't. It was really what I asked for! I live in Indiana and we heat our home with a wood stove. And yes we really go out and cut down our own trees and split them with a wood splitter.
