I would prefer beer to whiskey, I can see it has some good medicinal values from what you have outlined.

I would say this is an easy one for me, but I am also guessing that I am in the minority here. I prefer whiskey over beer, and that is mostly just because I have never really been a big beer drinker.

I'm not even sure that we can judge them side by side as they are to totally different drinks. Personally I like both, but whereas I'll have a couple of bottles of beer on most evenings, I only tend to drink whiskey at the weekends.

One of the main reasons of course is because of the strength of it, but it's also because I like to take my time when drinking a nice whiskey as well. I can chug a couple of bottles of beer in half an hour, but hen I pour myself a whiskey I tend to take my time with it.

I drink beer for the effect, whereas I drink whiskey for the taste more than anything else.

Fоr mе, I rаrеly mеt а bееr I didn't likе but mоst whiskiеs wоuld mаkе mе gаg. I mаy аs wеll hаvе bееn drinking syrup оf ipесас.

I think whiskey has some health benefits as well,of course in moderate amounts though. It reduces the chances of developing Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, also its low in sugar so diabetics can enjoy a shot or two as well. Lets see,its also good for stress and fights cancer. Overall it has a lot of antioxidants and helps you live a longer life.

Despite all these benefits that you @DR KOKIL AGARWAL mentioned about beer (by the way, some of them I still didn't know... very nice :)), I still prefer to drink whisky because it combines more with me (my lifestyle ).

I am sure that beer is better than whisky in any way, but since I drink beer rarely and I don't like the bitter taste of it, I would always take a whisky over beer.

I think both are equally good on different ways depending on your perspective. I don't really mind health as they are both alcohol, if I was looking for health benefits then I might as well drink red wine instead. I think it's all onto personal preference. I like to drink beer with my mates but I find myself drinking whisky whenever I'm alone.

I can very well relate to you. Beer is enjoyed the most when in company of some friends while whisky and loneliness go very well together.
