Good question I'd say, the truth is I have thought about this before and asked a few persons too. The fact I am not sure of any health benefit drinking beer

The answer's simple. It lies mainly below the chest. Have you guessed it? It is the stomach. Drinking beer is good for one's stomach and digestive system as a whole.

Well I have always remembered someone calling it the liquid bread, and I have kind of ran with that. There have been times when I take it quite literally too, and count it as a serving, but not really I guess.

I don't know if I am the only experiencing this, after taking beer sometimes I tend to go hungry and may suffer some slight headache. This happens if I consume more quantity than I should I guess.

I have heard drinking beer in moderation has many health benefits. Since beer is made with hops it's packed with flavonoids, which are potent antioxidants, and minerals which aid in the metabolic process. These give you reduced risk of heart disease, prevents dementia, boosts bone density, helps with gallstones and kidney stones and not to mention a stress buster and diuretic. :)

Interesting to know that beer is composed of substances which can supply our body with antioxidants and these other health benefits. Taking it moderately is the key to enjoying its usefulness, over indulgence could intoxicate and lead to other health problems.

Absolutely tony. Moderation is the key. I never new these benefits existed until I did a little research. I know this really sounds crazy but I enjoy beer more than wine and I was glad to find out in moderation these health benefits existed.

My favorite benefits of drinking beer are the anti-aging properties that they claim it has,and also dark beers, like Guinness, are loaded with anti-oxidant compounds called flavonoids, which help reduce damage to the lining of the arteries. I think drinking a few beers just might be good for you after all,and it probably has unlimited benefits!

I'm not really sure about the health benefits of drinking beer. I think it definitely contains some vitamins and you can also kind of moderate the alcohol content, but not too sure about the rest.

It might be because the beer you drank was high in carbohydrates. This can cause your blood sugar to spike. Then, it spikes back down afterward. The hunger may be induced in order to raise your blood sugar back up.Take care with that.

Conversely, if beer makes you hungry, it might be a good thing for people who need to eat more but don't have much appetite.
