Haha, a flatscreen does indeed ease the pain. Decent Christmas!Well the best is yet to come...my son is giving me a flatscreen. I also got a Roomba and bought a kindle fire and toaster oven for myself...so it was a good Christmas!! I would have rather seen my son, but a flatscreen does ease the pain..I must say.![]()
Don't worry about it, we don't give out gifts at Christmas that much. We don't need a holiday to be kind and giving, we do it every time throughout the year.Yeah, well, I got nothing. I am a bit broke right now and the rest of my family is not less broke then me so we just pretend it is not the end of the year.I never liked those special days to be the reason for gifts anyway. We are going to catch up with presents next year. And new laptop is a great present really. Good for you.
I am a bit like that. We have a custom here in Serbia to kiss three times when congratulating something and when my father cam to do that I asked him where was he the whole year and where would he be the next one. they make it like an obligation. Something that you do for courtesy. I told him we should hug and kiss everyday.Don't worry about it, we don't give out gifts at Christmas that much. Ha, I know what you mean. I wish I would've been easier on my parents while growing up, but I guess everyone is an angsty teenager throughout their lives.I am a bit like that. I was given $100 and a bottle of Baileys Mint Chocolate all for myself from my mom. She always knows the best things to give me <3

I like incorporate a tradition that my mother started when I was growing up. There'd always be a "to Mom from Santa" gift under the tree. It was a gift that she had purchased for herself and wrapped for herself. So this year "Santa" got me a new rice cooker and a Cuisanart griddler (I do a lot of cooking). Santa knows me so well and knew just what I needed![]()
