Get Out Your Bell Bottoms And Your Wallet! The Last Drop Releases 1971 Vintage

The latest release – the 10th in the collection series – of The Last Drop Distillers Collection is the 1971 vintage blended Scotch whisky.

The Last Drop 1971 Vintage was initially blended in 1983 as a 12 year old, the remnant after bottling was refilled into 11 ex-Oloroso Sherry butts which was aged for nine years, then bottled as a 21-year-old blend. The remainder was then refilled into nine oak barrels and matured another 24 years. The Last Drop 1971 Vintage was then bottled last month with a total 45 year maturation.

Only 1,352 bottles of The Last Drop 1971 Vintage will be available for $3,870 per bottle.
