Glasgow Brings Out Peated 1770 Whisky

The Glasgow Distillery Company has released a new peated version of their 1770 single malt whisky called 1770 Peated Release No. 1.

Glasgow 1770 Peated Release No. 1 was aged in first-fill ex-sherry casks and finished in virgin oak casks before being bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of caramel, macadamia nuts and smoky orange.

Glasgow 1770 Peated Release No. 1 is being made available for $60 per bottle beginning in September 2019.
