Ardbeg Revives 17-Year-Old Single Malt
Islay-based Ardbeg Distillery has revived their 17-year-old single malt – originally discontinued in 2004 after the distillery’s purchase by The Glenmorangie Company – as a limited edition, albeit, only available to the Ardbeg Committee.
Ardbeg 17-Years-Old single malt was initially introduced in 1997, bottled at 40% alcohol by volume [80 proof] and was said to offer notes of their trademark smoke.
Ardbeg 17 Years Old is being made available exclusively to members of the Ardbeg Committee – either online at Ardbeg.com or at the distillery visitor center on Islay – beginning on September 24, 2024, for $210 per bottle.
