Kingsbarns Bags Caddies’ Dream
Lowland-based Kingsbarns Distillery has released Caddies’ Dream – a single cask whisky – to coincide with this weekend’s Dunhill Links Championship at The Old Course in St Andrews, Scotland.
Kingsbarns Caddies’ Dream is a 10-year-old single malt matured in a shaved, toasted, and re-charred (STR) ex-wine barrique, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of apple, cherry, pear and vanilla.
Only a mere 200 bottles of Kingsbarns Caddies’ Dream are being made available – and those are limited to two bottles per person – exclusively from the distillery’s visitor center and online shop. [Although a dram of Kingsbarns Caddies’ Dream can be had if you happen to find yourself at select high-end bars in St Andrews this weekend].
