Blade And Bow – The Key American Bourbon Whiskey
There are two parts of a skeleton key – the blade and bow – and that is the symbolism used for the new Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey, which uses the skeleton key reference as a way of paying tribute to the Stitzel-Weller Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. Blade and Bow will be released along with Blade and Bow 22-Year-Old in a limited release with Blade and Bow said to have fruit notes [specifically, apricot and pear] and the 22-Year-Old having vanilla and caramel notes. Blade and Bow is bottled at 45.5% alcohol content [91 proof] while the 22-Year-Old carries 46% alcohol content [92 proof].
Blade and Bow is available for $50 for a 750ml bottle while the 22-Year-Old will go for $150 per bottle.
