Tomatin Brings Their 44-Year-Old Whisky Out Of The Warehouse

Tomatin Distillery has released a rare single malt, single cask whisky from 1971 that they have deemed is the first of their so-called Warehouse 6 Collection. The Highland whisky was matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks and was bottled at 45.8% alcohol by volume and boasts notes of almond, plum, caramel, dark chocolate and coffee.

Only 252 bottles of Tomatin 1971 Warehouse 6 Collection are available for $3325 per bottle beginning in July 2016.
