Gordon & MacPhail Brings Connoisseur’s Choice Out Of The Woodwork

Gordon & MacPhail is re-launching their ranges of single malt Scotch whiskies and the first one out of the gate will be Connoisseur’s Choice.

The other four ranges to be released will be ‘Discovery’, ‘Distillery Labels’, ‘Private Collection’ and ‘Generations’.

‘Connoisseurs Choice’ is celebrating its 50th anniversary when it was first launched by George Urquhart – a second generation of the Urquhart family which begun the label 122 years ago.

The ‘Connoisseurs Choice’ range will be “placing a greater emphasis on small batch, single and multiple casks, bottled as vintages.”

The new ‘Discovery’ range is currently scheduled to be released in late Spring 2018, followed by the expected launch of the ‘Distillery Labels’ range in Summer 2018, the ‘Private Collection’ range in the Autumn 2018 and finally, the ‘Generations’ range – whose release date has yet to be revealed.
