Tomatin Unveils Decades II
Tomatin has combined five decades’ worth of cask-maturing Scotch whisky into one whisky they are calling Decades II.
Tomatin Decades II is comprised of whisky which has spent time in 21 casks over the past 50 years and includes casks of ex-bourbon [from 1973, 1975, 1977 and 1995], ex-sherry [from 1988] and re-charred French oak.
Tomatin Decades II was bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of coconut, maple syrup and wood shavings.
Only 3600 bottles of Tomatin Decades II are being made available for $225 per bottle.
