The Macallan Millennium Decanter Up For Grabs At Bonhams Auction

The 50-year-old Macallan Millennium Decanter 50-year-old is being put up for auction at Bonhams next month.

The Macallan Millennium Decanter was distilled in January 1949, encased in a Caithness glass decanter and was one of only 900 decanters released. The Macallan Millennium Decanter is expected to go for between $29,000-$32,000.

Joining the Macallan Millennium Decanter on the auction block will be several other rarities, including a bottle of Hanyu Ichiro’s Malt Queen of Hearts Japanese whisky [distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2006, this bottle is number 44 of a limited edition run of 324 and is expected to go for between $13,000-$15,000]; a bottle of Black Bowmore 1964 from the Final Edition [expected price – $20,000]; a Macallan Pure Highland Malt [$13,000-$19,000).

The Bonhams Christmas Whisky Sale will be held in Edinburgh on Wednesday, December 10, 2019.
