The Dalmore Shows You Pictures Of Their 60-Year-Old
The Dalmore is showing you pictures of their 60-Year-Old single malt Scotch whisky because you will never own it and it is highly unlikely you will even taste it due to the fact that there are only three decanters being made available.
For three generations, The Dalmore was run by the Mackenzie family – it was the Mackenzies who created the iconic stag symbol. The Dalmore 60 Year Old was aged in a pair of former sherry casks and bottled at 41.7% alcohol by volume [83.4 proof]. The casks were the last casks from when the Mackenzie family operated the distillery. The Dalmore 60 Year Old is said to contain notes of almonds, pecan pie and toffee.
The Dalmore 60 Years Old will be unveiled at an exclusive celebration at The Dalmore’s Scottish Highlands home before traveling on a global tour to London, Los Angeles, Shanghai and Taipei, and London. The second and third decanters will be released in later years.
