Duncan Taylor Debuts 42-Year-Old Bowmore
Scotland-based independent bottler Duncan Taylor has released a 42-year-old Bowmore as part of their Rarest Reserve collection, a collection which showcases Duncan Taylor’s casks.
Duncan Taylor’s 42-year-old single malt whisky was originally created at Bowmore Distillery on Islay, matured in a single Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry cask, bottled at 50.8% alcohol by volume [101.6 proof] and is said to produce notes of , the whisky displays aromas of cinnamon, ginger, milk chocolate and, of course, being from Islay, peat smoke.
Only 500 bottles of Duncan Taylor Bowmore 42 Years Old Rarest Reserve are being made available for $1,095 per bottle.
