Richard Hammond Debuts Hawkridge Whisky

Former “Top Gear” and “The Grand Tour” co-host Richard Hammond has finally joined the alcohol-fueled fray with his former tormentors from both those shows with his collaboration with Hawkridge Distillers to produce both a gin and a single malt English whisky, called Ratio Gin and Iron Ridge whisky. Hawkridge Distillery is located in Berkshire, England.

Iron Ridge is a single malt whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks and is said to offer notes of caramel, smoke and vanilla.

Hammond will make an appearance to promote his new gin and whisky on Friday, July 4, 2025, at Flourish at Glenavon Farm in Bristol and Flourish at Farleigh Road in Bath.

Hammond is the final of Top Gear/The Grand Tour trio to have entered the spirits industry with his former co-host James May currently enjoying fame with his lineup of self-titled James May Gin and former co-host Jeremy Clarkson also boasting a collection of beers and ciders from his Hawkstone brand which was borne out of his “Clarkson’s Farm” show on Amazon.
