Isle of Harris Celebrates Anniversary With Hearach Edition
Outer Hebridean-based Isle of Harris Distillers has released The Hearach Decade Edition – a lightly-peated single malt whisky – to celebrate the distillery’s 10th anniversary.
The Hearach Decade Edition was matured in both first-fill Oloroso sherry butts and first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of caramel, spice and, of course, peat smoke.
Only 2,357 bottles of The Hearach Decade Edition are being made available for $100 per bottle.
