Courvoisier Emerges With New Campaign
“Hey, yo! Pass the Courvoisier!” is the call of the first promotional campaign in almost 20 years for the iconic cognac brand.
The promotional video was set in Atlanta, Georgia, directed by Grammy Award-winning artist Ibra Ake and depicts a house party where seemingly a single bottle of Courvoisier VS is passed from room to room (which may require another trip to the store to purchase another bottle of Courvoisier).
Courvoisier was born in 1828 and was the cognac that was enjoyed by Napoleon III, was served at the inauguration of the Eiffel Tower and the opening of the Moulin Rouge. Milan-based Campari Group purchased Courvoisier from Suntory Global Spirits in May 2024 for $1.17 billion.
Courvoisier will support the new campaign with similar house party experiences in London, New York and Shanghai and London – each of which have been determined to be a primary markets for the cognac.
