Torabhaig Gets Poetic

Isle of Skye-based Torabhaig has joined the poetic trend with the debut of Taigh – a small batch single malt whisky which will be enhanced by a collaboration with Scottish poet Iona Lee. Lee will bolster Taigh by creating an original poem showcasing the Torabhaig distillery’s location on the Sleat Peninsula on the Isle of Skye.

Torabhaig Taigh was matured in first-fill and refill ex-bourbon casks along with Madeira wine casks, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to offer notes of almonds, smoke and vanilla.

Torabhaig Taigh is being made available worldwide for $50 for a 700ml bottle.
