The Borders Debuts Inaugural Single Malt Whisky
The Borders Distillery has released their inaugural single malt whisky since the distillery officially opened in 2018.
The Borders debut single malt whisky is an eight-year-old matured initially in first-fill ex-bourbon American oak casks, finished in Malmsey Madeira casks, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of citrus, hazelnut, honey, macadamia nuts and vanilla.
Only 10,000 bottles of The Borders Single Malt Scotch Whisky First Release are being made available beginning September 24, 2026, for $60 per 700ml bottle.
