Aberfeldy Makes 19-Year-Old Addition To Exceptional Cask Series

Aberfeldy has released a 19-year-old addition to their Exceptional Cask Series of single malt whiskies.

Aberfeldy Exceptional Cask 19 Year Old Sherry Finish was blended from four Aberfeldy casks – one of those casks held whisky that was aged in an ex-sherry cask, while the other three casks held liquid that had spent 15 years in refill casks before spending an additional four years maturing in Oloroso sherry casks. Aberfeldy Exceptional Cask 19 Year Old Sherry Finish was then bottled at 43% alcohol by volume [86 proof] and is said to contain notes of cereal, fruit and honey.

Only 3210 bottles of Aberfeldy Exceptional Cask 19 Year Old Sherry Finish are being made available for $150 per bottle.
