Angel’s Envy Introduces Port Cask Bourbon

Angel’s Envy has released bourbon finished in port casks.

Angel’s Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Port Wine Barrels was blended in small batches of eight to 12 barrels at a time, matured for up to six years, then finished in 60-gallon Port wine casks made from French oak before finally being bottled at 43.3% alcohol by volume [86.6 proof], it will be initially launched in on-trade venues across London, before being rolled out across the UK.

Angel’s Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Port Wine Barrels is said to contain notes of bitter chocolate, maple syrup, raisins and vanilla.
