Angel’s Envy Produces Mizunara-Casked Bourbon

Angel’s Envy has released Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Japanese Mizunara Oak Casks – a blend of four-year-old and nine-year-old Angel’s Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon, finished in Japanese mizunara oak casks for an additional two years – as the first entry in their newly-created Angel’s Envy Founder’s Collection, which will include whiskies commemorating brand anniversaries, special events and milestones.

Angel’s Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Finished in Japanese Mizunara Oak Casks was bottled at 48.9% alcohol by volume [97.8 proof] and is said to contain notes of banana, cinnamon and pepper.

Only 1200 bottles of Angel’s Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Japanese Mizunara Oak Casks are being made available for $350 per 750ml bottle beginning on 1 September 1, 2020, at Angel’s Envy distillery in Louisville and within Kentucky.
