Arbikie Produces Rye Whisky

Arbikie has released Arbikie Highland Rye – a rarity in traditionally damp Scotland.

Three-year-old Arbikie Highland Rye is a single grain Scotch whisky originating from a mix of unmalted Arantes rye (52%), Odyssey malted barley (33%) and Viscount wheat (15%), then matured in first-fill charred American oak casks and finished in Pedro Ximénez casks before being bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and claiming to contain notes of cloves, maple syrup and orange marmalade.

Only 998 bottles of Arbikie Highland Rye are being made available worldwide for $317 per bottle.
