Ardbeg Unveils Vintage Y2K Series Whisky
Islay-based Ardbeg Distillery has released the second single malt whisky in their millennium vintage series – Ardbeg Vintage_Y24 24 Years Old – and this one was finished in Amontillado Sherry casks.
Ardbeg Vintage_Y24 24 Years Old was initially matured in ex-bourbon casks, finished in Amontillado sherry casks – a first-ever process for Ardbeg – bottled at 47.8% alcohol by volume [95.6 proof] and is said to contain notes of coal, nuts and toffee.
Ardbeg Vintage_Y24 24 Years Old is being made available for $925 per bottle.
