Benromach Gets Woody

Benromach has released Sassicaia Wood Finish 2009 – a limited-edition whisky initially matured in first-fill bourbon barrels before a finishing period spent in Sassicaia wine casks from the Bolgheri wine region in Italy.

The Benromach Sassicaia Wood Finish 2009 has been bottled at 45% alcohol by volume [90 proof].

Only 8000 bottles of The Benromach Sassicaia 2009 will be available for the bargain basement price of $50 per bottle.
